Suboxone Treatment/Out-patient drug detoxification

At Alpine Center Medical Services’ Sean Ponce, MD a certified Suboxone doctor and addictionologist is helping patients recover from opiate addiction through Suboxone Therapy, Suboxone is an opioid medication approved under DATA 2000 for treatment of opioid dependence in an out-patient setting. Suboxone benefits patients by decreasing the cravings for the opiate, by blocking other opioids, such as heroin, oxycodone, methadone and other pain killers, from attaching to the receptors in the brain and also by relieving withdrawal symptoms. With Suboxone treatment patients do not need to be hospitalized or put into a residential treatment setting, therefore allowing more time for work, family and other things that are important to the patient.
