Tracy  

 

Tracy B. Anderson, LCSW
Clinical Director

Tracy completed his Bachelors degree in Psychology at the University of Utah Cum Laude then returned to his clinical studies with a Masters in Social Work degree in 1986. Tracy has a rich experience background working in chemical dependency, and dual diagnosis clinical settings with both adolescents and adults. He has designed and directed several programs throughout the last twenty one years in the Salt Lake area. He has also maintained a private practice in the area for twenty years specializing in addiction and dual diagnosis issues in families. Tracy is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Utah teaching group psychotherapy with addiction populations.

Debra Gibson, Primer for Life Certified Instructor
Education Director

Debra is a graduate of the University of Utah's Drug and Alcohol Program.   Debra works with communities to provide education  and assistance  to help struggling adolescents and their families. She is dedicated to helping families cope with the trials and tribulations that occur with adolescents in crisis sitruations.

Kate Tolsma, LCSW
Child and Adolescent Director

Kate has been working with both children and adults for the past 12 years in a variety of settings.  She specializes in working with children and adolescents including preschool age children.  In addition to private practice work, she has worked in residential treatment programs and pediatric outpatient clinics.  Her areas of specialty include; substance abuse, attachment disorders, anxiety disorders, the treatment of dual diagnosis presentations, and working with families.


 
   
Chris    

Christopher D. Wightman, LCSW
Program Director

Since 1999 Chris has worked in the mental health field in a number of settings including a therapeutic wilderness program and two residential treatment centers.  Chris has also maintained a private practice since 2005.  While earning a Masters in Social Work degree Chris focused his research and course work on  substance abuse and mood disorders, though he received training and experience with a wide variety of adolescent and adult issues. Since earning his masters degree Chris has continued to gain experience working with substance abuse, and expanded his focus to include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and the treatment of personality disorder traits.
